Disciplinary Practices While this is rarely an issue we do find it best to make everyone aware of our disciplinary practices prior to camp beginning. e For a minor offense (sneaking out, lying, skipping classes, disrespectful behavior, etc) we typically use a verbal warning and offer a correction for the behavior. e For repeated minor offenses we continue offering a correction for the behavior and may add an extra discipline such as mopping the dining hall or raking gravel areas, etc. Their parent or guardian will be contacted by the Camp Dean. e For major offenses (such as the use or possession of drugs or alcohol, assault or vandalism) the camper will be expelled from the camp and it is the responsibility of their parent or guardian to arrange for transportation. The police may become involved if Kansas State Law and/or the Camp Dean deem it necessary. Prohibited and/or illegal substances will be destroyed. e The Camp Dean does reserve the right to handle offenses, and the resulting disciplinary action, on a case by case basis. Rules (Rules, Rules, Rules and more Rules. Everywhere you go there are rules, but this really is a good thing! Just think how confused our world would be without them. By obeying the following rules, we can all have a good time and learn more about God’s world) 1. Make it a point to breathe a little each day—attend special events, classes, worship services, etc. 2. Be respectful of other people and their property. 3. Camp buttons must be worn at all times so you can be recognized as a registered camper. 4.
